The Beacon Insurance Company Limited was launched in 1996 via a re-branding of its predecessor, Caribbean Insurance Company Limited which had been in existence since 1972.   With thirty (30) years in the insurance industry this privately owned company’s operations are Regional with headquarters in Trinidad and branch offices in Tobago, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, and agencies in St. Vincent, Dominica and St. Kitts & Nevis. Beacon underwrites all major lines of insurance including: Property, Motor, Accident & Casualty, Marine Cargo & Hull, Engineering, Bond, Group Life & Employee Benefits.   Led by an experienced and qualified Management Team, Beacon’s Gross Assets have grown from a modest TT$35 million in its first year of operation to over TT$300 million to date, with Gross Premiums approaching the TT$300 million mark.   The company recently launched its new corporate image designed to honor past achievements while ensuring that the Brand evolves with the changing time and remains an effective platform to communicate its promises. The lighthouse and the guidance it provides were retained but the image, like the organization, was modified to create a stronger, more modern representation of Beacon. The logo was modeled after the Chacachacare light house in Western Trinidad, one of the highest in the world, which was used as a way of navigating between Trinidad and Grenada for centuries.   It was Beacon’s way of condensing all its finer, positive qualities into a concise symbol of pride.
